No naval vessel today is without Gyro compass on the move. Developed the navigation aid was developed by Herrmann Anschütz-Kaempfe, the namesake of the Kiel-based company.

The red Anschütz logo is familiar to all seafarers and those with professional or private ties to the sea. You immediately think of the gyrocompass, of course. This company invented it, but that is by no means all. The German company from Kiel is known worldwide for its precision products. In the course of its long history, Anschütz has made a name for itself in various industries, but the production of navigation and precision instruments in Kiel defines the brand.
