A new future for the sea battalion?

The close cooperation between the German naval battalion and the Dutch Mariniers Corps requires extensive adjustments. This affects all areas, from training to equipment.

Qua patet orbis (Latin: as far as the world extends) is the motto of the Dutch Corps Mariniers, which was established on 10 December 1665. This traditional branch of the Royal Netherlands Navy is the spearhead of the country's crisis response forces and claims to be able to be deployed anywhere and under any circumstances. There has been plenty of evidence of this since the Corps Mariniers was founded.
