What a day at sea for the German Navy!
The task force supplier "Frankfurt am Main" has supplied the Italian Navy's aircraft carrier "Cavour" with fuel. That was spectacular, as the navy announced on "X". The RAS (Replenishment at Sea) was a perfect symphony of German precision and Italian flair in the Pacific, they reported with pride.
For the Indo-Pacific Task Force the journey continues after the harbour stop in Tokyo further. The reason for the pit stop in Yokusuka, the base of the JPN Navy and 7th US Fleet, was not disclosed. Participation in the NOBLE RAVEN manoeuvre is now on the agenda. This is an American-Japanese exercise that is being organised to strengthen maritime security and interoperability in the Indo-Pacific. Ships from Italy, France and Australia are also taking part.
