The world's leading maritime trade fair SMM is back

Innovations for climate protection and increased efficiency took centre stage at this year's SMM. Nevertheless, the industry is facing difficult times. After a four-year break (not only) due to the coronavirus pandemic, the global shipbuilding industry met in Hamburg at the beginning of September for its 30th world-leading trade fair for the maritime industry. Netherlands: Walrus successor - request for proposals expected from mid-November

Navy establishes new "Centre for Naval Tactics"

KSM under new management

On Wednesday, 28 September 2022, the commander of Operational Flotilla 1, Flotilla Admiral Henning Faltin (56), handed over command of the Navy's Special Forces Command (KSM) from Frigate Captain Sven Rump (47) to Frigate Captain Sebastian Schuldt (39). Maritime Cluster publishes guideline on ship efficiency
