Update 02.10.2022 - 17:00 According to a Twitter post by the Danish energy agency Energistyrelsen on Sunday at 12.42 pm, gas is no longer leaking from either Nord Stream pipeline. The agency is referring to the operating company. Whether and how reconnaissance missions confirm this is not known here. It is possible that this information relates to the twin pipe of Nord Stream 2. In contrast, the Swedish Coast Guard reported no change to yesterday's situation in a communiqué issued at 4.04 p.m. on Sunday afternoon. Nun ist auch (endlich!?) das vierte Leck entdeckt worden, das bei vier Rohrleitungen logischerweise zu erwarten war. Ansonsten hätte womöglich ein peinlicher Zündversager vorgelegen, was nach Auffinden der Ladung sowie Analyse von Sprengstoff und Zündarmatur wenigstens eine relativ zuverlässige Täterzuweisung erlaubt hätte. Oder schlimmer noch, man hätte eine Boobytrap mit Detonationszeitpunkt bei Untersuchungs- oder Reparaturarbeiten in Erwägung ziehen müssen. Bereits am Montagabend vermerkte das Nord Stream 1-Kontrollzentrum einen Druckabfall an beiden Strängen der Gaspipeline. Ebenfalls am Montag, 26. September, veröffentlichte die dänische Energieagentur in einem Communiqué, sie habe ein Leck in der Nord Stream 2-Pipeline im dänischen Teil der Ostsee entdeckt. In der täglichen Pressekonferenz der EU-Kommission in Brüssel wurde von insgesamt drei Lecks berichtet. Beide Pipelines sind doppelsträngig ausgeführt. On Monday, 26 September 2022, Frigate Captain Lars Petersen (53) handed over command of the Kiel naval base to Frigate Captain Jan Dobberstein (45). Petersen had been in charge of the naval base command with the naval harbour "Kiel-Wik" and around 250 soldiers and employees since September 2019.
