Green light for second Constellation frigate

Fincantieri Marinette Marine has received an order from the US Department of Defence for the construction of another frigate. It will be the second ship of the future Constellation class, whose design is based on the French-Italian Fremm frigates. Dutch frigate departs for CSG

Under grey skies, the frigate Evertsen cast off from the naval port of Den Helder this afternoon to head for the English Channel. Nachdem gestern Premierminister Boris Johnson den Flugzeugträger Queen Elizabeth besucht hat, kam nur wenige Stunden vor Auslaufen auch die Queen persönlich an Bord. Empfangen wurde sie vom Kommandeur der UK Carrier Strike Group 21, Commodore Steve Moorhouse und dem Kommandanten der Queen Elizabeth, Captain Angus Essenhigh. DGzRS christens lifeboat Erich Koschubs

Sea rescue christening on Whitsun Saturday in Travemünde: The latest lifeboat of the German Maritime Search and Rescue Service (DGzRS) was named ERICH KOSCHUBS on 22 May 2021 on the Priwall. The volunteer sea rescuers at the traditional DGzRS station have a state-of-the-art 10.1-metre newbuild of the latest generation. With the words "I christen you ERICH KOSCHUBS and wish you and your crew a safe journey at all times and always a safe return home", Edeltraut Koschubs christened the new lifeboat in the name of her late husband.
