Series shipbuilding for the US Navy

At the end of October, United States Navy Ship (USNS) ROBERT F. KENNEDY (T-AO 208) was christened and launched at General Dynamics - National Steel and Shipbuilding Company (GD-NASSCO) in San Diego, California. Honouring USNS "Robert F. Kennedy" is the first naval auxiliary to bear his name in honour of the late US veteran. Made in Germany for US sport fishermen

Rolls-Royce delivers mtu engines totalling 300,000 hp for US sportfishing boats Rolls-Royce is apparently about to break the 300,000 hp mark in delivered power with the 10V, 12V and 16V models of the mtu Series 2000 M96. That's about 130 engines. RR is now the market leader in the US sportfishing business. Reliability from Friedrichshafen is therefore popular in the US market. Rolls-Royce exhibited its engines and gave an overview of its automation solutions for yachts, the mtu NautIQ Blue Vision NewGeneration yacht automation system and the mtu NautIQ Bridge, which made its American debut in Fort Lauderdale from 25 to 29 October.

ATLAS manufactures four drones for the minehunting boats The German Navy is receiving "SeaCat" underwater reconnaissance drones for its Class 332 minehunting boats, financed by the special fund for the Bundeswehr.
