Change at the head of the Dutch Navy

Schout-bij-nacht René Tas becomes the new inspector of the Dutch Navy. On 9 September, he will take over command of the armed forces from Vice Admiral Rob Kramer as Vice Admiral. First female jet pilot in the Italian Navy

In 2000, the Italian parliament decided to open up the armed forces to women. Now, for the first time, a woman, Lieutenant Erika Raballo, has been awarded the American "Wings of Gold".
