Liquefied natural gas for Germany: LNG-FSRU sets course for Wilhelmshaven
Gas importer Uniper is expecting the special ship "Hoegh Esperanza" as the technical centrepiece for the new LNG land terminal in Wilhelmshaven in mid-December, according to a company spokesperson in Düsseldorf last week. FSRU The 294 metre long "Hoegh Esperanza" will serve as a floating storage and regasification unit (FSRU) in Wilhelmshaven. LNG delivered in liquid form will be converted back into gas on board and pumped ashore.
