Another minehunting boat on a NATO mission in the Mediterranean On Monday, 17 June 2024 at 10 a.m., the hollow-barrel boat "Pegnitz" will leave its home port of Kiel. The boat, which is part of the 3rd Minehunting Squadron, will thus make the German contribution to the NATO support mission in the Aegean over the coming months. The members of the Maritime Cluster Northern Germany (MCN) have re-elected individual positions on the Executive Board. The election took place as part of the general meeting on 12 June 2024 in Bremen, and Prof. Bastian Gruschka from Bremen University of Applied Sciences and blueMEC GmbH was re-elected as Chairman. The MCN members elected Kerstin Broocks, Guideline GmbH, as the second chairperson. She previously served as an assessor on the MCN board.
