Ein toller Erfolg, auch in der Spendensumme! Es sollte ein wunderbarer Abend werden. Vor der einmaligen historischen Kulisse der Marineschule Mürwik, dem Mutterhaus deutscher Marineoffiziere, sollte im Juli ein Benefiz Konzert stattfinden. Aber das herannahmende Orkantief machte den Veranstaltern Sorge und man sagte das Konzert ab. Und nun endlich wurde es wirklich ein wunderbarer Abend. Lediglich ein paar Regentropfen mussten die rund 700 Gäste aushalten. Aber das war auf dem Gelände der Schule Nebensache. Die musikalischen Darbietungen des Marinemusikkorps Kiel unter der Leitung von Kapitänleutnant Inga Hilsberg waren ein Genuß. Und so war die Übergabe der Spenden denn auch...

Among other things, Washington wants to put the "Sentinel" intercontinental ballistic missile system into service as a replacement for the "Minuteman III", the "Columbia" class ballistic missile submarine (SSBN) as a replacement for the "Ohio" class SSBN currently in service and the B-21 "Raider" as a replacement for the B-2A "Spirit" bomber. Today, 29 August 2023, the second STS boat for Wehrtechnische Dienststelle 71 in Eckernförde was christened "Holstein" at the TAMSEN MARITIM shipyard in Rostock. Until now, TAMSEN MARITIM had only been known as a repair company, but after the christening of the "Schleswig" and the "Holstein", newly built boats from the Warnow will soon be included in the German Navy's fleet list for the first time. Vom 24.08.- 28.08.2023 fand das Treffen der Such- und Rettungsflieger auf dem Marinefliegerhorst in Nordholz statt. Beim Fly-In am Donnerstag ließ sich bereits erahnen, was die Besucher der diesjährigen Veranstaltung erwarten wird. Neben den Gästen und ihren Hubschraubern u.a. aus Belgien und Tschechien zeigten die Marineflieger ihren „Sea King“ in einer besonderen Lackierung, der an die Anfänge der Such- und Rettungsfliegerei in der Bundesmarine erinnert. Neben dem Static Display fanden diverse Flüge und ein Symposium statt. Höhepunkt war der "Family Day" am Samstag.
