On Monday evening, the Nord Stream 1 control centre reported a drop in pressure on both strings of the gas pipeline. Also on Monday, 26 September, the Danish Energy Agency published a communiqué stating that it had discovered a leak in the Nord Stream 2 pipeline in the Danish part of the Baltic Sea. A total of three leaks were reported at the EU Commission's daily press conference in Brussels. Both pipelines are double-stranded. The Colombian Ministry of Defence has confirmed the signing of a contract between the Dutch Damen shipyard and the state-owned shipbuilding complex Cotecmar (Corporación de Ciencia y Tecnología para el Desarrollo de la Industria Naval Marítima y Fluvial). The object of the contract is the construction documentation for Colombia's new frigate PES (Plataforma Estrategia de Superficie - Strategic Surface Unit), which is to be built at the shipyard in Cartagena-de-Indias on the Caribbean side of Colombia. The agreement reached between the coalition government and the CDU/CSU on 29 May on the 100 billion euro special fund for the Bundeswehr outlines the expected procurement package.
