Canal with water shortage

As early as 1827, Goethe dreamed of building a waterway from the Atlantic to the Pacific Ocean through the isthmus between North and South America. The greater Indo-Pacific region encompasses all sea areas between the east coast of Africa and the west coast of America, and there are two standard routes for the two units of the German Navy's Indo-Pacific Deployment 2024. The long route via South America around the infamous Cape Horn through the Strait of Magellan or the short route through the Panama Canal. Vice Admiral Brad Cooper, Deputy Commander of the United States Central Command (Tampa/Florida), speaks very highly of the American pier off Gaza and praises its efficiency: a volume of 9,000 tonnes of relief supplies was handled via this pier, corresponding to around 425 fully loaded articulated lorries. Of course, the floating pier occasionally had to be closed or repaired due to damage caused by bad weather conditions and was therefore temporarily out of action. But now this maritime mission...

The propulsion engines and generator sets for the power supply of the three new Miecznik multipurpose frigates for the Polish Navy are currently being built at the Rolls-Royce Power Systems Division in Friedrichshafen. Four 20-cylinder mtu Series 8000 engines with 8,200 kW each and four 12-cylinder mtu Series 4000 gensets with 1650 kW mechanical power each will be installed on each ship. The CODAD (combined diesel and diesel) propulsion system consists of two engines per shaft/propeller and can be used flexibly in different combinations - from single engine operation for slow patrols to high-speed operation at over 20 knots (37 km/h) with all four engines. With a cruising speed of...
