Today, on 5 September 2022, the frigate "Hessen" is leaving its home port to join the US Carrier Strike Group (CSG) under the command of Frigate Captain Volker Kübsch. The new F126 frigates of the German Navy will receive controllable pitch propeller systems with the corresponding hubs, blades, hub covers and propeller shafts from Kongsberg.
