Uwe Lahl is the new commander of the support squadron
After three years, Frigate Captain Torsten Eidam has handed over command of the support squadron to Frigate Captain Uwe Lahl. Eidam is moving to the naval command in Rostock to work on the conceptual planning of the navy. With Frigate Captain Lahl, another experienced naval officer is taking over the squadron. He can look back on assignments as commander of a fast patrol boat, deputy commander of the corvette squadron and consultant in the planning department of the Federal Ministry of Defence in Berlin.
