Air defence system for Ukraine

Diehl Defence, HENSOLDT and Airbus deliver deficits to NATO Diehl Defence has delivered a combat unit of the IRIS-T SLM air defence system to Ukraine with HENSOLDT and Airbus. The contract was signed in June 2022 and, as Diehl announced in a press release, further IRIS-T SLM combat systems will follow as quickly as the industrial process allows. Diehl is the general contractor and system integrator for all components and supplies the launcher and missiles. HENSOLDT is contributing the TRML-4D multifunction radar. Journalists film damage from the Nord Stream explosion

A section of the Nord Stream 1 gas pipeline in the Baltic Sea at least 50 metres long is missing, the Swedish daily Expressen reported on Tuesday after taking what it said were the first publicly published pictures of the damage. EuroNaval: Consortium agreement signed for European multi-purpose corvette

The managing directors of the four companies involved in the development of the European Patrol Corvette signed a preliminary consortium agreement on the opening day of EuroNaval, 18 October 2022. Bulgarian special services investigate lorry explosion on Crimean bridge

The Bulgarian counterintelligence service DANS (State Agency for National Security) in Sofia is investigating Russian allegations that the lorry blown up on the Crimean bridge came from that country.
