Change of command at Eckernförde naval base - it doesn't stop.... On Tuesday, 28 September at 10 a.m., Frigate Captain Oliver Wellinger (39) will hand over command of the Eckernförde naval base to Frigate Captain Olaf Oertel (41). The ceremony will be conducted by the new commander of Operational Flotilla 1, Flotilla Admiral Henning Faltin (54).
