On 23 July, the Dutch shipyard Damen and Engie Axima Germany announced their cooperation in the construction of the Class 126 frigates (formerly MKS 180). Engie Axima, formerly Noske-Kaeser, will thus supply the heating, ventilation and air-conditioning systems as well as the protection against chemical, biological, radiological and nuclear hazards (CBRN) and the refrigeration systems of the future frigates. The Dutch Navy was able to take delivery of the HNLMS Snellius again today (14 July). After a mid-life update lasting around a year, Damen Shipyards in Den Helder transferred the ship back into the hands of its owner.
