Changes to the Executive Board of the Maritime Cluster Northern Germany

The members of the Maritime Cluster Northern Germany (MCN) have taken over individual offices of the Management Board newly elected. The election took place at the General Assembly on 12 June 2024 in Bremen.

Prof Bastian Gruschka from Bremen University of Applied Sciences and blueMEC GmbH was re-elected as Chairman. The MCN members elected Kerstin Broocks, Guideline GmbH, as the second chairperson. She previously served as an assessor on the MCN board. "For me, the Maritime Cluster Northern Germany epitomises successful 'matchmaking'. I look forward to continuing to play an active role in shaping this network," says Kerstin Broocks. Torben Taeger, Evac Germany, moved from his position as second chairman to the advisory board at his own request. Oliver Schinzel, HSM - Hanse Ship Management AG, was re-elected as an assessor. Sebastian Echternach and Frank Kerstedt from Mazars Steuerberatung will remain with the MCN in their role as auditors for a further two years. The newly elected honorary board will now begin its work.
