A great success, also in terms of donations!

It was to be a wonderful evening. A charity concert was to take place in July against the unique historical backdrop of the Mürwik Naval School, the mother house of German naval officers. But the approaching hurricane worried the organisers and the concert was cancelled.

And now, finally, it really was a wonderful evening. The 700 or so guests only had to endure a few drops of rain. But that was a minor matter on the grounds of the school. The musical performances by the Kiel Naval Music Corps under the direction of Lieutenant Captain Inga Hilsberg were a delight. And so the handover of the donations was also very pleasing. The commander of the school, Flotilla Admiral Jens Nemeyer, was able to hand over a cheque for 5,000 euros each to the Marineoffizier-Hilfe and the Johanniter Unfallhilfe.

The occasion was the 175th anniversary of German navies - but why shouldn't this become a great tradition, not just for birthdays!
