„Der Reibert - Das Handbuch für die Soldatinnen und Soldaten der Bundeswehr“ updated new edition now available to order from Mittler!
The Reibert has been the standard handbook for Bundeswehr soldiers for decades. It provides comprehensive basic knowledge about laws, ordinances, decrees and service regulations. The comprehensively revised and updated new edition of „Der Reibert - Das Handbuch für Soldatinnen und Soldaten der Bundeswehr“ will be published by Mittler on 19 March 2026. The Reibert provides citizens in uniform - both active soldiers and reservists in the Bundeswehr - with basic knowledge about security policy, the state and the armed forces. It takes into account the current status of laws, ordinances, decrees and service regulations. The 950-page standard work is divided into three parts. The first part deals with security policy, civics, internal command, international humanitarian law and general troop training. The second part focuses on the Bundeswehr, its armed forces - the army, air force, navy, cyber and information space - as well as the newly created organisational area of support. The structure, equipment and tasks are described in detail, as are training opportunities and routes. As a practical companion, the third part provides valuable information for service in the armed forces and military training. An extensive appendix, including the rank insignia of the armed forces of all NATO countries, the new military symbols and a detailed index, rounds off the work.
The editor is Dr phil. Jan-Phillipp Weisswange, lieutenant colonel (ret.), most recently commissioned as deputy battalion commander. „Der Reibert - Das Handbuch für Soldatinnen und Soldaten der Bundeswehr“ is available in softcover format 10.5 x 14.8 cm at a price of €24.95 from bookshops and other retailers.
