Swearing-in ceremony for junior officers at the Naval Academy Mürwik

On Friday, 23 September at 10 a.m., Crew 2022 will be sworn in at the Mürwik Naval Academy (MSM) in front of family members and visitors as well as high-ranking guests from politics, society and the Bundeswehr. There have been several rounds in recent years due to the pandemic. The late date in September is due to the two different starting dates on 1 July and 1 August 2022. All 261 officer candidates will now be sworn in together on 23 September. The President of the Schleswig-Holstein State Parliament, Kristina Herbst, will address the young soldiers. The military ceremony will be accompanied by the Army Music Corps and a company of the guard battalion of the Federal Ministry of Defence from Berlin. A flag delegation from the Polish Naval Academy in Gdynia will also take part.
