It's just a blue and yellow stamp, but it's going viral - online and on auction platforms.
The first few days have passed since sales began in Ukrainian post offices and demand is understandably high. The nominal value of the stamp is completely irrelevant: on the relevant platforms, the "postage stamps", which are certainly limited in number, reach prices of over one hundred euros per stamp and up to 500 euros for a block of six stamps.

A narrative without words
There are two recognisable versions of the stamp and there may be questions about its authenticity - but who cares? It's all about the idea and the astonishingly brave narrative of the Ukrainian David against the Russian Goliath. The fact that the Russian cruiser "Moskva" off Snake Island forms the maritime background and the cheeky radio message the Ukrainian core message may be seen as an irony of fate after the sinking of the flagship of the Russian Black Sea Fleet.
