New management of FSG-Nobiskrug

Flensburger Schiffbau-Gesellschaft-Nobiskrug gets a new management team. Robert Fischer von Mollard becomes Managing Director of both companies; Michel Bollmann becomes Technical Director. Robert Fischer von Mollard was most recently Production Manager at Nobiskrug and Michel Bollmann held the same position at Flensburger Schiffbau-Gesellschaft. Lars Windhorst, the shareholder of FSG-Nobiskrug, will leave the operational management.

This is obviously a good internal solution for Lars Windhorst, who is in the public eye. An arrest warrant against him had only just been suspended in connection with insolvency proceedings in Hanover in which he had failed to appear in court. Despite the difficult public scrutiny of the two long-established companies in Schleswig-Holstein, the hope remains that a perspective for the future can now be created. Around 600 jobs are at stake. Work had been delayed at both sites because the invoices could not be paid. Lars Windhorst promised to invest fresh money to enable the two new companies to get started.

Current orders include a ferry for the Australian shipping company SeaRoad, with which an agreement has already been reached. A second ferry is an option. The construction of two to three bunker ships for liquefied natural gas (LNG) could be started because Federal Minister of Economics Robert Habeck handed over funding decisions worth 62 million euros to a consortium of companies at the end of 2022. The investor also mentioned talks with the Norwegian company Siem about new orders. The construction of a luxury yacht in Rendsburg is also on the cards, NDR reported.
