The Royal Navy continues to follow all movements of the Russian Navy in the vicinity of its territorial waters. On Friday, the British patrol boat HMS Mersey a Kilo-class submarine that was on its way from the Baltic Sea to the Mediterranean. In the process, the RFS Rostov-on-Don also the North Sea and the English Channel. The boat belongs to the Russian Black Sea Fleet. All movements were reported to the NATO partners so that they can monitor the warship as it continues its journey. Back in October 2020, HMS Mersey the boat on its journey in the opposite direction.
