Four training boats are being procured as part of the modernisation of the German Navy's training units. In future, they will be used as training platforms, in particular for the nautical training of marines and for the „Survival at Sea“ course. Fassmer has already designed, manufactured and delivered two units of this type as sea trials coastal test boats for the Wehrtechnische Dienststelle (WTD 71) (photo). With this follow-up order, the company is continuing its co-operation with the BAAINBw.

„The renewed order confirms the efficiency of our team and the appreciation of the on-time delivery, adherence to the budget and the quality of the SV-Küste units already built,“ says Harald Fassmer in the presence of the President of the BAAINBw, Annette Lehnigk-Emden. „We are delighted to be able to make a contribution to the future-proof training of the German Navy with these four additional ships.“
