USA - Pentagon dismisses high-ranking executives

The USA - Pentagon dismisses high-ranking executives causing a worldwide sensation. The Chief of Naval Operations, Admiral Lisa Franchettithe first woman to hold this position and therefore the first female member of the Joint Chiefs. And also the Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff, General Charles Q. Brown was "fired".

Admiral Lisa Franchetti was only appointed Chief of Naval Operations (CNO) in November 2023 and confirmed by 95:1 votes in the US Senate. With Franchetti's dismissal, her term of office ends almost three years too early. The four-decade-long qualification in the US Armed Forces and her career in the navy, including as commander of surface combat units, aircraft carrier groups and naval commands, cannot have been the reason. And there is no successor yet.

The surprising Pentagon layoffs raise questions about the future military strategy of the USA. Reasons for the dismissals have not yet been given. Unfortunately, this leaves room for speculation...
