Specialist conferences on the German Shipping Day

At the German Shipping Day on 29 September in Bremen, numerous industry experts will come together to discuss the key issues for the future of shipping. The overall event, which is being held under the motto "Sustainable shipping, together, clear, clean!"  is offering not just one, and not two, but three high-calibre specialist events that are open to all interested parties free of charge, true to the tried and tested motto that all good things come in threes. You can choose which of these events you would like to attend:

The conferences will feature keynote speeches on current market developments and trends in maritime and inland shipping. Leading researchers and practitioners will report on the current tense security situation on the world's oceans. And with kick-off statements and panel discussions, the central future topic of shipping in general, decarbonisation, i.e. ways and measures towards emission-free shipping and the associated supply chains, will be discussed. Gain new insights, join the discussion and shape the shipping of the future.

Renowned personalities from the maritime industry, research, politics and administration are expected to attend. and you are also expected. The organisers expressly invite all interested parties, young and old, with or without experience in shipping, to actively participate in the German Shipping Day and to take part in the deliberately free events.

Acknowledgement

The planning, organisation and staging of the German Maritime Day 2022 is a joint effort by many, because without the support of our sponsors and the active support of authorities such as the Federal Waterways and Shipping Administration, the Hanseatic City of Bremen Port Authority, the police, fire brigade and others, there could be no ship and boat parade. The same applies to the many activities on land, so that not only the two cities of Bremerhaven and Bremen, the Bremen City Initiative, the Erlebnis Bremerhaven Gesellschaft, but also universities, business, port and logistics associations, the German Maritime Museum, the Maritime Cluster Northern Germany and many more are among the partners and supporters of the German Maritime Day 2022. They all contribute to the success of the event and thus reinforce the tried and tested realisation of good seamanship that success can only be achieved together. This is exactly what the motto of the German Maritime Day 2022 expresses: "Sustainable shipping: Together, clear, clean!"
