US Navy has recovered lost F-35C from the USS Carl Vinson
A small ray of hope for the 7th Fleet with its Task Force 75: Naval Sea Systems Command (NAVSEA) and Supervisor of Salvage and Diving (SUPSALV) were able to salvage the wreckage of their F-35C Lightning II (Joint Strike Fighter), which crashed into the sea on 24 January during a failed landing on the aircraft carrier USS "Carl Vinson", from a depth of 3,800 metres on 2 March.
