Suez Passage becomes more expensive
Shipping journeys through the Suez Canal are to become more expensive. The operators have announced that the price of transits will increase from February 2022. Admiral Osama Rabea, head of the Suez Canal Authority, announced the price increase for almost all ships, except for cruise ships. Fifth US fleet completes New Horizon
First-ever joint exercise of unmanned and manned surface ships by NAVCENT As Defence News reports, the US Fifth Fleet has conducted an exercise called New Horizon, in which a MANTAS T-12 drone integrated into Task Force 59 operated with manned US patrol boats and Bahrain Defense Force units for the first time.
