STS: security, transport and towing The Defence Technical Centre (WTD 71) for Ships and Naval Weapons, Maritime Technology and Research in Eckernförde will receive two new STS boats from TAMSEN MARITIM in Rostock. The workboats will replace the class 744 (e.g. AK2) and will be delivered to WTD 71 with a time delay from the end of 2022.
