Aircraft carrier "Harry S. Truman" - Sea damage in the Red Sea
The deployment of the "Harry S. Truman" (CVN-75), which began in autumn 2024, has not been under a good star so far. A serious incident occurred in the Red Sea in mid-December: an F/A-18F Super Hornet belonging to its own Fighter Wing was accidentally shot down by the USS Gettysburg, a Ticonderoga cruiser from its own Carrier Strike Group.
