Finland - First NATO base announced

Finland, which had long been non-aligned, joined Nato in April 2023 due to the Russian war of aggression against Ukraine. "Das Boot" - surfaced in Wilhelmshaven!

The boat on which Lothar-Günther Buchheim collected his material for "Das Boot" as a war correspondent in autumn 1941 still exists, in Wilhelmshaven!
