Spain's training sailing ship returns after ten months
Sail training ships can also go to sea. The Spanish navy proudly demonstrated this today when the Juan Sebastián de Elcano sailed into Cádiz. After ten months, she completed her 11th circumnavigation of the globe under the watchful eye of King Felipe VI. The sailing ship, which was commissioned in 1928, was accompanied on its final miles by numerous sailing and motor yachts.
