Rostocker Blauhelmsoldaten kehren in den Heimathafen zurück

Heute kehrte die Korvette „ Braunschweig“ von der UNIFIL-Mission (United Nations Interim Force in Lebanon) zurückkehren. Begrüßt wurde sie durch den Oberbürgermeister der Hanse- und Universitätsstadt Rostock, Claus Ruhe Madsen (49). Mit Musik vonMarius Müller-Westernhagen „Ich bin wieder hier“ und einem Heimatwimpel kehrte die "Braunschweig" mit ihrer 60-köpfigen Besatzung unter dem Kommando von Korvettenkapitän Pascal Störk zurück. Die Aufgabe der Blauhelmsoldaten war es, vor der libanesischen Küste den Seeraum zu überwachen und einen möglichen Waffenschmuggel vor Ort zu unterbinden. Today, 11 March 2022, Vice Admiral Jan Christian Kaack (59) was officially appointed as the new Inspector General of the Navy. The command of the German Navy was handed over to him by the Inspector General of the Bundeswehr, General Eberhard Zorn (62), at the Mürwik Naval Academy.
