The French group CMN NAVAL is presenting the world's fastest autonomous interceptor speedboat, the UHSI32, at the upcoming World Defence Show from 6 to 9 March 2022 in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. The autonomous capabilities and functions were developed by CMN in collaboration with Sea Machines Robotics and Raytheon Anschütz.
CMN NAVAL will present various capabilities of the UHSI32, such as autonomous driving, compliance with collision avoidance rules and communication in over-the-horizon mode. The 45-knot patrol boat is particularly suitable for SAR and maritime surveillance. With a length of 32 metres and a width of 7 metres, the boat can be used autonomously for three days.
The World Defence Show 2022 will showcase the latest technological developments from around the world.
CMN NAVAL (Constructions Mécaniques de Normandie, Cherbourg) has delivered more than 3,500 ships in the last 80 years and is represented in 42 navies worldwide. Sea Machines Robotics has its headquarters in Boston and is also represented in Hamburg. Raytheon Anschütz in Kiel is a supplier of maritime navigation, bridge and mission systems.
