Jürgen Hoffmeister takes over as Head of Marketing and Communications at General Atomics

On 1 September 2021, Jürgen Hoffmeister took over as Head of Marketing and Communications at General Atomics Europe Group took over. "I am delighted that we have been able to gain an internationally experienced and proven communications professional for our group of companies," says Harald Robl, Managing Director of General Atomics Europe.

Jürgen Hoffmeister has over 20 years of experience in marketing, communications and strategy. He acquired his international expertise in leading marketing and communications functions, particularly in the automotive and IT industries, including Continental, Siemens and the Brose Group. For the General Atomics Europe Group In future, he will be responsible for developing the strategy for global marketing, external and internal communication, social media activities and trade fair and event management, as well as acting as the company spokesperson to the media.

The General Atomics Europe Group took over RUAG Aerospace Services GmbH in Oberpfaffenhofen on 1 March this year. Hoffmeister's task will continue to be to expand the Oberpfaffenhofen site into the Group's European aerospace centre.
