"One Earth - One Ocean", OEOO - a German non-profit environmental organisation - has developed its idea into a concept in 2022, in which a used cargo ship is to be converted into a mobile recycling and energy generation ship in remote metropolitan or waste regions.

The magazine MarineForum is published ten times a year. The publication of the Naval Officers' Association (MOV) is published by the German Maritime Institute (DMI).
