US Navy remains visible in the South China Sea

Even under the new President Joe Biden, the United States remains present in the South China Sea. Demonstratively, the Theodore Roosevelt Carrier Strike Group, the Makin Island Amphibious Ready Group and the Ticonderoga-Cruiser Port Royal conducted several joint manoeuvres in this sea area. The USA is thus openly opposing the territorial claims of the Chinese, who regard almost the entire South China Sea as their territory.
