The Seapower Sympolium has now become a permanent fixture in Kiel. This time, the focus was on the influence of the new era on international maritime security policy.
On 15 June, almost one hundred international experts from science, the military and politics came together in Kiel for the Kiel International Seapower Symposium (KISS). KISS has been organised in its current form by the Institute for Security Policy at Kiel University (ISPK) for seven years and has developed into the leading maritime security policy conference in continental Europe. This year, the Konrad Adenauer Foundation has once again been won as a partner.
