70 years of the Bundeswehr: Bremen State Command and Bundeswehr Social Organisation invite you to a benefit concert in Bremerhaven

Bremerhaven - On Tuesday, 28 October 2025, the Bremen State Command and the Bundeswehr Social Services are hosting a charity concert in the Mayor Smidt Memorial Church in Bremerhaven. On this evening, we want to honour the 70th anniversary of the founding of the Bundeswehr together and do some good at the same time: The proceeds from the event will be donated to the Bundeswehr-Sozialwerk e.V. with its "Aktion Sorgenkinder in Bundeswehrfamilien des BwSW" (campaign for troubled children in Bundeswehr families). The renowned Wilhelmshaven Naval Music Corps and Professor of Organ, Tobias Lindner, will provide the top-class musical programme. Under the motto "Organ meets wind orchestra", the musicians under the direction of the conductor, frigate captain Matthias Prock, will show how well the queen of instruments and a symphonic wind orchestra go together. The programme includes the premiere of a transcription of the famous organ symphony "Symphonie Concertante" by composer Joseph Jongen.

The concert will take place in the "Bürgermeister-Smidt-Gedächtniskirche", Bürgermeister- Smidt-Straße 45, 27568 Bremerhaven.

The event starts at 19:00, admission from 18:00.

Admission costs 16 euros in advance (eventfrog), 18 euros at the box office.
