"After almost six months away, the frigate 'Hamburg' is returning to its home port today, and I am delighted that the ship's crew will be back safe and sound in time for Christmas," said the commander of the 2nd Frigate Squadron, Frigate Captain Jan Hackstein. The frigate "Hamburg" travelled a total of 31,375 nautical miles during its deployment. Two Sea Lynx Mk 88a naval helicopters from Naval Air Wing 5 in Nordholz were also embarked.
