The two SANDOWN-class minehunters BLYTH and RAMSEY, which were decommissioned in Rosyth, Scotland, in mid-July, will move to the Black Sea after a short refit phase and reinforce the Ukrainian Navy. Both boats were in service with the Royal Navy for twenty years and were also the first boats to be transferred to Bahrain in order to establish a permanent British mine defence component there.

It is independent, non-partisan and is neither directly nor indirectly supported by ministries or other German authorities.
