Rostock - From 20 to 28 January 2024, the German Navy will be exhibiting at the world's largest and most important international boat show, the "boot" in Düsseldorf. A sailing cutter, a team of mine divers showing how they work in a diving tower and members of the German Navy's Special Forces Command (KSM) will be there. Russia's largest producer of liquefied natural gas (LNG), Novatek, has completed the first line of its "Arctic LNG 2" project despite US and EU sanctions. The first LNG deliveries are scheduled to be shipped in the first quarter of 2024. PROFILE Arctic LNG 2 will have three production strings that can produce a total of 19.8 million tonnes per year. At around 2.45 p.m. (CET) on 14 January 2024, there was an attack on a US Navy ship in the sea area off Hodeidah. According to reports from US Central Command, the missile fired at the "USS Laboon" (DDG 58, 1st batch, in service since 1995) was intercepted and neutralised by an unidentified US fighter aircraft.
