Abeking & Rasmussen build a special ship together with Fassmer

On 14 December, the keel was laid for the first joint project of ABEKING & RASMUSSEN and FASSMER, a 105m hydrographic vessel.
Having recently successfully delivered two minehunting boats to the Indonesian navy, A&R was also awarded the
new construction of the hydrographic vessel. As the ship concept is based on a tried-and-tested design by FASSMER, the project was realised in the best possible way right from the start.

NATO: strengthening allied naval power in Europe

Spain's government has given the green light for the stationing of two more US Navy ships, bringing the number of US destroyers stationed in Rota to six. Hamburg: Hapag-Lloyd plans sailing container ships

The Hamburg-based shipping company Hapag-Lloyd says it is working on plans for cargo ships with sail propulsion. Specifically, this involves container ships with a length of around 260 metres and a capacity of 4,500 containers.
