The Bundeswehr invites you to take more than just a look behind the barracks fences. From 10 am to 5 pm, the Eckernförde naval base opens its doors with a large programme. Under the motto "WE ARE THERE", the Bundeswehr will be presenting itself in all its diversity - for visitors to touch, participate in and experience. Guests can look forward to an extensive exhibition area from the army, air force and navy. Modern large-scale equipment will be presented and insights into the capabilities and mission of the armed forces will be provided. Specifically, you can expect to see Submarines as well as demonstrations by combat swimmers and mine divers, the large-scale equipment of the army and air force with the Leopard 2, the Puma infantry fighting vehicle, the Biber bridge-laying armoured vehicle and the Patriot air defence missile system. Local residents, guests and visitors are warmly invited and welcome.
