Diehl Defence and the University of the Federal Armed Forces Munich sign cooperation agreement.

The President of the University of the Federal Armed Forces Munich, Prof. Dr mont. Dr.-Ing. habil. Eva-Maria Kern, and Diehl Defence CEO Helmut Rauch signed a joint declaration of intent a few days ago during a visit to the Überlingen site. The aim of the agreement is to strengthen both the defence capability and the technological sovereignty of the Federal Republic of Germany.

This is to be realised through demand-oriented research and the exchange of academic talent development. The potential areas focus on particularly pressing future fields, from technical - such as aerospace activities, information and production technologies - to non-technical in the field of economics. Through the exchange of knowledge and resources between university and industry, new paths and solutions are created that meet both national and international challenges.
