Dear members and participants
of the General Meeting,
We are currently receiving many enquiries at the office expressing concerns about the risk of coronavirus infection during our General Assembly on 8 and 9 October 2021. I can assure you that we are exhausting all possibilities to minimise the risk of infection as much as possible. In addition, the number of infections in Wilhelmshaven and "umzu" continues to decline.
Attached is our hygiene conceptthat supplements the hygiene requirements of those responsible at the event venues. The 3G regulation applies to the twilight pint at the German Naval Museum on 8 October 2021 as well as to the general meeting on 9 October 2021 and the bus transport. This means that only vaccinated, recovered or tested persons can participate. Each participant must provide proof of the relevant status. Unfortunately, people who do not provide this proof will not be able to take part in our events. Together with those responsible at the event venues, we have organised admission, seating arrangements and catering to be "corona-compliant" in order to minimise the risk of infection.
In addition to the organisational measures, however, it also depends on the behaviour of all of us. Please show consideration for each other. Keep your distance and, despite the understandable joy of seeing each other again, refrain from hugging.
We are convinced that this will ensure the greatest possible protection and that we will be able to hold our long-awaited General Meeting in person in peace and quiet and then return home in good health.
So we'll see you on 08/09! We are looking forward to it!
Yours, Elmar Brocksieper
-Managing Director-
