Diehl Defence and Lockheed Martin expand global PAC-3 MSE supply chain
Diehl Defence and Lockheed Martin Missiles and Fire Control have signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) to explore opportunities for cooperation in the field of Integrated Air and Missile Defense (IAMD).
Under the terms of the declaration, the companies will explore expanding the Patriot Advanced Capability-3 (PAC-3) Missile Segment Enhancement (MSE) supply chain, research and development and other areas. By combining their unique expertise and complementary capabilities, Diehl Defence and Lockheed Martin aim to address pressing defence and security issues. PAC-3 MSE is a cornerstone of U.S. and European air defence and missile defence. The guided missile has proven itself in the fight against ballistic missiles, cruise missiles, hypersonic missiles and airborne threats. The United States and Germany are two of 17 partner nations that have selected PAC-3 for defence against air and missile threats. This partnership is designed to increase the resilience of the allied supply chain while creating new business opportunities that benefit both sides of the Atlantic.
