on 05 April 2025 in Plön
Ladies and gentlemen, dear members of the Naval Officers' Association,
Last year, we held our Annual General Meeting in Wilhelmshaven; this year, after consulting the members, we will meet at the 2024 General Meeting in Plön.
I hereby invite you as the Executive Board of the Marine-Offizier-Vereinigung e.V. pursuant to § 9 c) (1) of the MOV Articles of Association in the version dated 19 June 2023 to the Ordinary General Meeting on 05 April 2025 from 08.45 a.m. as a face-to-face event. This will be held at the Naval NCO School Ruhleben 30, 24306 Plön
The meeting was published in the yellow pages of the marineforums 11-2024 and presented the programme and the main items on the agenda. Further information was provided in the marine forum 12-2024.
Finally, the agenda of the General Meeting will be sent to you with this invitation as an additional document in due time and form.
Our General Assembly is overshadowed by the third year of war in Ukraine, with direct events and effects on almost all areas of our daily lives. The conflicts in the Middle East and China's territorial expansion in the South and East Asian seas are also contributing to the global uncertainties.
Especially in these very difficult times for all of us, I believe that the personal exchange of ideas between our members is particularly important.
We want to enter into this joint dialogue with a "Rees an Backbord" as part of the now established "Dämmerschoppen". I cordially invite you to this event on Friday, 4 April at 6 p.m. in the mess hall of the Naval NCO School.
To enable us to keep each other informed at short notice in these turbulent times, our homepage at https://marineforum.online/mov/ at your disposal. It is our medium for quickly passing on information to you. Please check the site from time to time if you have the technical means to do so. For those who do not have this, our office in Wilhelmshaven is of course available by telephone on 04421 - 500470.
I am looking forward to our General Meeting and hope that there will be a lively personal attendance and an intensive exchange of ideas.
Kähler
Chairman of the Marine-Offizier-Vereinigung e.V.
